蔡宗隆(國立台灣手工藝研究中心典藏)
裁縫師的手縫合了衣服上的破洞;醫生的手縫合了病人的傷口;
心理醫生的手縫合了心裡的障礙;老師的手縫合了學生的問號;
藝術家的手縫合了生命的盲點;警察的手縫合了罪犯的悔過;
父親的手縫合了孩子的叛逆;母親的手縫合了遊子的思鄉心情;
盡責的手縫合了任務的不完美;細膩的手縫合了不小心的粗糙;
精密的手縫合了瑕疵的漏洞;溫暖的手縫合了縫合了彼此的冷漠;
真心的手縫合了面具的假象;情感的手縫合了過去的傷痛;
11075 Cracks

Clay
ZONG-LONG TSAI(Collection of National Taiwan Handicraft Research Center)
Hands of tailors stitch up the hole in the dress; hands of doctors stitch up the patients’ wound;
Hands of psychologists suture the obstacle in heart; hands of teachers suture the students’ doubt;
Hands of artists stitch the blind spots of life; hands of policemen stitch the criminals’ repentance;
Hands of fathers stitch the children’s rebellion; hands of mothers stitch the wanderers’ homesickness;
The conscientious hands stitch the imperfection of the task; the delicate hands stitch the accidental roughness;
The delicate hands stitched up the flaws; the warm hands stitched up each other’s indifference;
The sincere hands stitch the illusion of the masks; the warm hands stitch the past pain.
When I had the soil of the 921 Earthquake, I wanted to stitch all the cracks brought by the earthquake–the cracks on the land and the cracks in people’s hearts. I wish to have incomparable strength and wisdom, using mountains as needles and sunshine, air, streams, flowers, trees, and the hopes of everyone as threads, suturing the beautiful scene that has disappeared.
